{"id":845,"date":"2015-02-11T01:05:47","date_gmt":"2015-02-11T09:05:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/?p=845"},"modified":"2015-02-07T13:18:23","modified_gmt":"2015-02-07T21:18:23","slug":"valentines-day-cookie-recipe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/recipes\/valentines-day-cookie-recipe\/","title":{"rendered":"Valentine&#8217;s Day Cookie Recipe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Giant Fudge-Filled Cookie is easy and delicious&#8211;perfect for Valentine&#8217;s Day!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/cookie-brownie-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-846\" src=\"https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/cookie-brownie-1-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"cookie-brownie-1\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/cookie-brownie-1-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/cookie-brownie-1-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/annroth.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/cookie-brownie-1-624x832.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Giant Fudge-Filled Cookie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 375 degrees<br \/>\nFlour and grease a large heart pan or a 9 x 12 pan<br \/>\n<strong>Filling:<\/strong><br \/>\n12 ounces chocolate chips<br \/>\n8 ounces cream cheese cut into chunks<br \/>\n2\/3 cup evaporated milk<br \/>\n<strong>Cookie:<\/strong><br \/>\n1- 1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>\n1\/2 cup butter<br \/>\n3 cups flour<br \/>\n1 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n2 eggs<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp vanilla<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Filling:<\/strong> In the top of a double boiler, melt chocolate chips, cream cheese and milk.\u00a0 Set aside to cool slightly and make cookie dough.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cookie:<\/strong> In electric mixer, cream together sugar, butter. Add eggs, mix well. Add flour, salt and baking powder and vanilla, mix well. Divide dough in half. Spread half of dough evenly over bottom of pan. Spread chocolate mixture over dough.\u00a0Dollop spoonfuls of remaining dough on top, pressing lightly.<\/p>\n<p>Bake approximately 30 minutes or until done. When cooled, remove from pan.
